Since its debut in 1998, the Lyric Chamber Music Society of New York has presented chamber music and cutting-edge repertoire in an intimate salon setting - as it was intended. Our concerts have been described as a quintessential New York brownstone concert experience and we cater to music lovers, students and connoisseurs from all over the world.
The unique Lyric experience offers up close exposure to rising stars, as well as Concert Masters and Principal Players from leading orchestras, interpreting masterpieces of chamber music. Join us as Lyric discovers, nurtures and introduces up-coming talent from around the world, giving an opportunity to perform with eminent musicians for a New York audience, be reviewed by the national press, and to be broadcast on radio stations across the country.
To help ensure tomorrow’s audience for classical music, The Lyric is actively involved in education and community engagement programs in the New York metro area. We are committed to broaden this initiative by sending artists to under served schools, both with and without music programs.
