Clarinetist David Valbuena is a versatile soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player that has performed in many of New York’s most prestigious venues, including Weil Recital Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, Le Poisson Rouge, Symphony Space, and Merkin Hall. He has participated in master classes of world renowned musicians such as Alan Kay, David Krakauer, Marc Ponthus, Gil Kalish, and Joel Krosnick. David has also studied privately with the principal clarinetist of the New York City Ballet, Steve Hartman and is currently working towards a bachelors degree in clarinet performance at The Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, studying with Charles Neidich.
A passionate performer of contemporary music, David is one-sixth of InnoVox, a pierrot-plus ensemble dedicated to the performance of new music by emerging composers. As a member of InnoVox David has enjoyed a residency at Queens College where he worked closely with composers of the Queens College New Music Group (QCNMG). During this residency, he had the pleasure of premiering a set of solo clarinet miniatures written for him by composers of the QCNMG. For two summers in a row, David was invited by the Grammy nominated wind quintet, Imani Winds, to attend their summer festival as a fellow. He has also participated in the Institute and Festival for Contemporary Performance in New York City where he performed works by Elliott Carter and Georges Aperghis.
An active educator, David has been on faculty at the New York Conservatory for Music and Art, Long Island Conservatory, and Juliet Music. He also has his own private teaching studio in NYC

Born in Brooklyn, New York, clarinetist Jackie Gillette has made her mark as a teacher and performer. She performs professionally around the United States including performances with the American Ballet Theater, American Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana and Buffalo Philharmonics, and South Florida Symphony. In addition to classical performances, she recently made her rock band debut as clarinetist on the Evanescence/Lindsey Stirling concert tour in Saratoga, NY.
Jackie has taught clarinet and general music to students ages three to 18 around New York and Florida. She traveled to Zimbabwe and South Africa as a guest artist with the Music Inspire Africa organization, where she taught and performed around the two countries. Jackie has earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, and Master of Music Degree from Lynn Conservatory, under the tutelage of Jon Manasse.
